Event Recap: Glug #10 – What I Wish I Knew at 18

06/10/17

For those that don’t know, Glug is a global event aiming to champion creative communities around the world. Based around a series of talks and informal networking, Glug has become one of the most exciting, credible & well – attended creative events around, which is why we were so excited that Glug Leeds were celebrating their 10th event at Duke!

With the theme ‘What I Wish I knew at 18’ the sold out Glug #10 saw our cast of creatives get nostalgic and give their seasoned advice on the key facts they wish they knew when they were starting out in their respective fields.

Featuring an array of speakers of different ages, backgrounds and professions including an inspiring talk from the likes of thinker, writer & public speaker Lou Mycroft who’s delve into the past not only reminded us how easy it is to get caught up in the grind of life and lose site on what’s really important but also that maybe those haircuts weren’t such a good idea after all...

With each speaker bringing their own insight and work ethic to the table, it was hard not to find something everyone could take home with them.
